Welcome to the Geoid Drone Tech Kids Open Day!
The day is packed with thrilling activities, including both indoor and outdoor sessions. Below is a breakdown of the activities your child will experience:
Indoor Activities
● Drone Parts Exploration – Learn about the different components of a drone.
● Drone Applications in Real Life – Watch videos on how drones are used in various industries like agriculture, security, and logistics.
● Drone Assembly – Hands-on experience assembling a mini drone.
● Drone Tech & STEM – Interactive session on how drones fit into STEM education.
● Flight Simulators – Experience flying drones using simulation software.
Outdoor Activities
● Straw Rockets – Design and launch paper rockets.
● Human Robot Challenge – Learn coding logic by programming a friend to navigate a maze.
● Paper Airplane Engineering – Design and test different paper airplane models.
● Bridge Building Challenge – Create a stable bridge using popsicle sticks.
● Math Scavenger Hunt – Solve math puzzles to find hidden objects.
● Balloon Helicopters – Build and launch a mini helicopter using balloons.
● Water Bottle Bowling – Knock down bottles using a ball.
● Icebreaker Games & Fun Zone – Enjoy interactive games, music, and non-STEM activities.
● Three-Legged Race – Team up with a friend and race to the finish line.
● Potato Sack Race – Hop your way to victory in a fun sack race.

Rotation Plan Summary
● Children are divided into small groups of 10.
● Each group will rotate through indoor and outdoor activity stations in 20-minute intervals.
● Flight simulators operate in 50-minute sessions, ensuring each child gets their turn.
● Afternoon sessions allow kids who missed activities in the morning to catch up.

Safety First: Our certified instructors and staff will supervise all activities to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. What to Bring: Comfortable clothing and lots of enthusiasm! Parental Involvement: Parents are welcome to observe and interact with facilitators to learn more about drone technology and the opportunities it offers. Food & Refreshments: Light snacks and water will be available, but kindly consider packing lunch for your child. Registration & Welcome
Registration Desk Opens: Parents and kids check in, receive name tags, and are assigned to color-coded groups (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow). Welcome Area: Kids are welcomed. Briefing: Event facilitators provide a quick overview of the day’s activities and safety guidelines.
Opening Ceremony
Welcome Speech: A short welcome address by a Geoid Technologies representative. Icebreaker Activity: A fun, interactive game to energize the kids and help them get to know each other.
Rotational STEM Activity Stations
Kids rotate through 8 activity stations in their assigned groups, spending an average of 15 minutes at each station for both indoor and outdoor activities. Each station is designed to be hands-on, educational, and fun!
Rotational STEM Activity Stations
Rotational STEM Activity Stations continue including Drone Interaction & Simulator Zone On Drone Demonstrations, there will be Live drone displays on a large screens, showcasing drone technology and applications. On Drone Simulators, Kids will get hands-on experience with drone simulators in a safe, supervised environment. Drone instructors will also answer questions about drones and their real-world uses.
STEM & Drone Quiz Competition
STEM & Drone Quiz Competition Format: Multiple-choice and open-ended questions on STEM concepts and drone technology. Rounds: Individual Quiz: Kids answer questions to earn points. Team Challenge: Groups collaborate to solve problems. Prizes: Exciting rewards for top performers!

Awards & Closing Ceremony Award Categories: Best STEM Innovator Best Teamwork Top STEM Champion Best Young Engineer Best Drone Pilot (Simulator) STEM & Drone Quiz Champion Future Tech Leader Closing Remarks: Thank you speech by Geoid Technologies representative.
Networking & Photo Session
Networking & Photo Session Kids and parents can take photos with drones and STEM props. Networking: Parents and facilitators interact, share feedback, and discuss future events. Key Notes for Parents Safety: All activities are supervised, and safety guidelines are strictly followed. Participation: Parents are welcome to observe and participate in certain activities. Takeaways: Kids will receive achievement badges, certificates, and goodie bags.
